The Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Cebu Council successfully conducted the Seminar-Workshop on World Scout Environment Programme (WSEP) held last October 6 - 8, 2017 at Capitol Hills Scout Camp, Cebu City. 35 Boy and Senior Scouts participated in the said course. Various activities that are in line with the five aims of WSEP were conducted throughout the course. Additionally, a presentation on the Scouts go Solar project, as well as a demonstration using a solar suitcase and various solar-powered gadgets, was given by guest speaker, Mr. Joel A. Orendain, Council Scout Executive of BSP Northern Samar Council. The course concluded with a hike to Guadalupe River, where the participants conducted a river clean-up.
