Scouts for Zero Hunger: Ramadan Takjil Project
During the month of Ramadan, many people still face difficulties in accessing food for iftar. As Scouts, we wanted to contribute to our community by sharing kindness and helping those in need. This project was inspired by the values of compassion, service, and solidarity, while also supporting SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
We started by collecting donations of food supplies from community members and donors. After gathering the donations, our Scout team sorted and packaged the food into equal portions for each recipient. Finally, we distributed the food packages and iftar meals directly to people in the community during Ramadan. The project was carried out over three days through teamwork, planning, and collaboration with local supporters.
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, planning, and community service. I also learned that small actions can make a meaningful impact on people's lives. This experience strengthened my leadership skills, communication skills, and sense of responsibility as a Scout.
