Scouts' Towels Beat Bangladesh Heat
In response to the intense heat affecting Bangladesh and causing severe dehydration and challenging road travel, many rely on rickshaws for their livelihoods. To support them, we’ve launched a campaign to distribute towels. These towels serve as a barrier against the sun and offer a means to cool down when damp, demonstrating our commitment to assisting them through the heatwave.
Thanks to the funding provided by our scout group, Crystal Open Scouts, we were able to distribute 100 towels on the first day. With the assistance of senior scout members, we aim to provide comfort to those impacted by the intense heat, offering a brief reprieve. With appreciation and empathy, we are dedicated to distributing these towels, with the goal of alleviating the suffering of those enduring the scorching conditions.
Grounded in service, Rover Scouts embody a dedication to aiding others. As a Rover Scout, my aim was to devote my time to acts of kindness, striving to assist others. With support from senior Rover brothers and fellow Girl Rover friends, I played a supportive role in this initiative. My objective was to make a positive impact, recognizing that helping those in need during extreme heat is a national responsibility, bringing both comfort and happiness.
