Scouts Innovators Lab-Design & Business Model Lab-

The Design & Business Model Lab was inspired by the need to transition 50 localized problem statements from Phase 1 into 20 sustainable, scalable social enterprise models. Developed under the Messengers of Peace (MoP) initiative funded by Saudi Arabia via WSF, this phase aimed to bridge conceptual ideas and practical startup launch using AI tools, Business Model Canvases (BMC), and value proposition design to solve community challenges in Algeria aligned with the SDGs.

Phase 2 was executed at Sidi Fredj Camp under the Messengers of Peace (MoP) initiative funded by Saudi Arabia via WSF. Teams worked with academic trainers and AI tools to refine 50 initial problem statements into 20 viable Social Business Model Canvases (BMC). The methodology combined value proposition design, market feasibility analysis, and strategic coaching. The phase empowered 70 scout leaders with advanced startup skills, preparing them for final implementation.

Key lessons learned: 1) AI tools and Business Model Canvases (BMC) accelerate the transition of youth ideas into viable social startups. 2) Grounding solutions in real community needs (50 problem statements) maximizes project feasibility and local impact. 3) Hands-on coaching and value proposition design effectively bridge the gap between scout values and entrepreneurial thinking. 4) MoP & WSF funding frameworks offer a strong foundation for scalable social enterprises.
