The Scouts of Dungtse CS planted 100 bamboo plants
Dungtse celebrated social forestry day on 2 nd June. To mark the day, the scouts of the school planted bamboo saplings on the barren land. The social forestry day celebration inspired the scouts to conduct the program.
The scouts of the school along with the principal planted around 100 bamboo sapling on the cliff and barren area beside new construction site of multi purpose hall. The program started at 9 am and ended at 12 noon.
The program helped the nature empty land to renew with green bamboo shoots.
The barren land may have green plants. It helped the nature earth to recover its lost green.
Through the project, the people learned that it our duty to protect our mother earth by planting at least a tree.
