Scouts Digital Leadership Workshop
This project was inspired by the observation that many scouts use social media without fully understanding the impact of their communication on their personal image and that of scouting. Noticing certain poor practices and the lack of clear guidance in digital communication, I was motivated to create a workshop to strengthen their skills, promote responsible use of digital tools, and better showcase scouting values within the community.
I carried out this project by identifying the scouts’ needs, designing a practical workshop, and facilitating interactive sessions with real-life examples. I engaged participants actively and encouraged them to apply the skills in their daily communication and online activities.
I learned that awareness alone is not enough; practical engagement and interaction are essential for real behavior change. I also realized the importance of adapting content to the audience’s context and the need for continuous follow-up to ensure lasting impact.
