Scouts Committed to a Healthy Planet

The inspiration behind our reforestation project came from a deep concern for the state of our planet and the urgent need to take action to reverse environmental damage. Observing forest loss, land degradation and the impact of climate change led us to act. The commitment of young Scouts and their desire to make a difference in the world was also a source of inspiration. We saw in them the passion and energy to make a significant change.
First, we conducted an exhaustive study of the areas that required reforestation in our community. We have assigned teams of scouts responsible for supervising the reforested areas. We established a collaboration with the prefecture. On the field, our scouts worked tirelessly, planting native trees and caring for them. We organize activities such as educational walks and environmental awareness programs, so that people in the community can learn about the importance of participate in woods care.
Our measurable impacts are based on: -Number of Trees Planted -Reforested Surface: The total reforested area in square meters. -Community Participation: Number of people who participated in the initiative, whether Scouts, local volunteers or community members. The beneficiaries of this project are around 10 people, community leaders, our objective is to spread the message to the rest of the people in the area.
-The importance of collaboration: Working as a team, whether with other Scouts, volunteers, the community or government entities such as the prefecture, highlights the importance of collaboration to achieve a common goal. -Environmental awareness: Through research, planning and execution of the project, knowledge is acquired about the importance of reforestation and nature conservation.
