Scouts Care, Clean Environment
Environmental Clean-up Scout activities are rooted in the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability as part of our shared responsibility to create a healthy and comfortable environment. This activity is often held by Scouts as a form of implementation of the Scout Tri Satya and Dasa Dharma, which teaches Scout members to serve the community, protect nature and care about the surrounding environment.
This activity was held on 4 December 2024 in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, Chuadanga District. Mathabhanga River flows through this district. And as there was a lot of dirt on the banks of the river, we were very short of drinking water. So we clean the river banks and make that water potable again. The aim of this activity is to increase the awareness and concern of the scout members for environmental cleanliness and to provide practical examples of how to maintain cleanliness in daily life.
This activity aims to increase Scout members' awareness and concern for environmental cleanliness and provide real examples of how to maintain cleanliness in everyday life. By involving Scout members from various levels, this activity is not only beneficial for the physical cleanliness of the environment, but also as a means to educate Scout members about the importance of preserving nature and caring about the sustainability of the earth
