Scout Youth Leadership & Service
I was inspired to contribute to community safety and leadership development through Scout activities like traffic security during Eid and regional jamborees.
From 24 March to 5 April 2025, I participated in the Karya Bakti Lebaran 2025, also known as the Ketupat Jaya Operation with Saka Bhayangkara in Bekasi City. I was assigned at several locations such as the East Bekasi Toll Gate, the West Bekasi Toll Gate, and the Mega Bekasi Mall. Together with fellow Scouts and the police, I helped manage traffic flow, guide road users, and ensure public safety during the busy holiday period.
The project helped reduce traffic congestion and improved safety for road users during the busy holiday season. It also supported the police and gave the community a sense of security.
I learned discipline, teamwork, and communication skills while managing traffic and assisting the community. I also gained experience in working together with the police in real situations. In the future, I would improve this project by adding more volunteers, providing better coordination tools, and giving more public awareness to road users.
