Scout Tree Plantation Initiative in Bangladesh
As Scouts, we are committed to protecting the environment and serving our community. We were inspired by the national tree plantation campaign to increase green coverage, combat climate change, and raise local awareness about the importance of planting trees for a healthier and greener future
Our team of Scouts planned and executed a 21-day tree plantation campaign in Gazipur. We organized saplings, selected suitable roadside locations, and successfully planted trees alongside our unit members to increase environmental sustainability and promote green awareness in the local community
Through this 71-day project, we learned the importance of teamwork, environmental responsibility, and active community participation. We realized how small collective efforts by Scouts can make a significant positive impact on our nature and local ecosystem.
