Bangladesh Scouts is a well known scouting organization all over the globe. Bangladesh Scouts has spread scouting all over the country as well as helped WOSM to reach every corner of the world.
In this continuity, "Dhaka Metropolitan Scouts" region has organized a three days long scout skill and badge course program from 20th May to 22nd May of 2018.
Mr Abul Hossain (W.B), Mr ABM Fazle Rabby (A.L.T) and Mr Jahangir Alam directed the program as course leader. S M Sakib Khan, Mahmud Mollah Asif, S M Lutful Lahil Mazid, Kamrul Islam, Amit Das and Sarwar Jahan have expanded their knowledge among young scouts as instructor of the course. Scouts from areas named 'Motijheel' and 'Ramna' have participated in this course at Motijheel Govt Boy High School. There were around 200 scouts from different troops participated in the course willingly. Scouts from Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, Ideal School & College, Motijheel Model High School, BIAM Model High School & College, Motijheel Govt Boys High School, South Banasree High School, Armanitola Govt High School and many other institute were there.
They were taught about First Aid, Electrical Works, Camping, Wood Craft, Nature Studies and many more scouting based activities which would be in need for their adventurous life in upcoming future. Young scouts were very happy to be a part of such program. There were given viva and assignment in order to achieve their skill badges.
On the last day, course leader Abul Hossain advised all the participant to be an effective part of world scouting movement. He also added that we all should obey the scout laws at any cost and should work for the betterment of our society. As being the representative of the instructor, S M Sakib Khan said that we all should realize our true intention of scouting movement.
In the end of the program young scouts were entertained with delicious snacks.
