SCOUT SERVING GOD and SERVING THE COMMUNITY
The project we had last Sunday was very fulfilling and at the same time we enjoyed it.We are driven to serve our community in the church and we are very grateful to be part of that project.
The project held at Mary Immaculate Parish in Parañaque.We came there before 6:00 AM as the mass started at 6:30AM.We help the church staffs to prepare all the necessary sanitation materials and equipment to ensure the safety of all the people who will visit and attend the mass.We were there the wholeday.Me and my 4 other co-scouts assisted the 3 masses in the morning 2 masses in the afternoon.During lunch time as our free time,the DRT (Disaster Response Team) teach us FIRST AID.
A lot of people who attended the Sunday mass and visited the church were benefited by the Project.With this Project we had helped our Church and the community to make them feel that they are safe and comfortable in the Church hearing the word of God and the Gospel from the mass.It will help the community to encourage more people to attend mass and don't forget to thanks our Lord Almighty.
I've learned a lot of things in the Project.I have applied the Scout Law to be a a Scout that is helpful,friendly,courteous,kind,obedient,trusthworthy and cheerful.It feels good to serve God and to serve other people.It was a tiring yet a fulfilling day to all of us.
