Scout for SDGs at the Aceh Besar Rover Moots
As a Scout member of my community, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to give back and make a positive impact. My motivation to do good for my community comes from a desire to make the world a better place, one small act of kindness at a time,
Scout for SDGs introduction activity marks the initial phase of my effort to engage scouts in making a direct impact on this program. During this session, I provided a comprehensive explanation of what Scout for SDGs is and how scouts can initiate simple yet effective projects that contribute towards achieving long-term goals.
By demonstrating how such projects can create real benefits for the local community, I hope to inspire the scouts to take an active role in promoting sustainable development and making a positive difference in the world.
As initiators, we can start by identifying the problems or needs in our surrounding environment and finding the appropriate solutions to address them. Once we have found the solutions, we can invite other scouts and local communities to join in realizing the project. As a driving force, we should have the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others to get involved in the project and help them develop the necessary skills and knowledge.
