As we are the scout group İzdos, from the city of İzmir, Turkey we had a great saturday, full of fun, creativity. 70 scouts, leaders had participated our new year scout ball. our concept is Harry Potter. all participant had duty of creating a costume, wand and a few thing from the films... During the ball, after starting with a lunch, all scouts got points from their costume and wands. Then 3 tournaments started, including knot duel, quidditch tournament and chess competition. Then, waltz started with the opening by senior patrol leaders. Dance continued with new year cake... Finally, there were one more categories as awards for successes of scouts in past 3 months period : most active, participant scout awards, 3 tournament winners, the best costume, the best wand, support to the ball speacial awards, new woggles signes for patrol leaders, merit badges.. And The ball finished with special cards and ball memory badges. This day was a great way in scouting education to lead scout creativity, support, more with the way of fun.
