At the beginning of the year the entire manada committee was agreed in create new ways of support the environmental compromise of the children, definetely it was the "go solar" initiative the way to do it. Go solar talks not only about clean and sustanaible energy solutions but also about create a true compromise with our planet and our future. We considered that the experiments were enough attractive and easy to understand for the kids, so with the support of the group we start to take action.
The manada committee start by learning themselves enough about solar and clean energies, then we planned several activities during the period from March 2dn to July 15th. Sometimes one day would be focused in explained the theory about solar energy and there would be another days in which the entire manada would be working on the Go Solar guide settled experiments. At the end of each planned activities would be a time were everybody could shared them doubts, conclusions and general thinkings.
We understand that each executed experiment settled in the Go Solar Guide has a focused learning. All very specific on solar energy and the great opportunities it represent in areas as cooking, orientation, lightning, art other heating.
