School waste clean-up lnitiative
We were motivated by the importance of reducing waste and protecting the environment and responsibility for our surrounding not only that through our work we would be able to encourage other people to take care the environment
The day began at 11:30am we gather at school, prepared for the cleaning drive.Divided into team,we scoured the school grounds for trash,then moved to jigme namgyel lss to further our efforts by cleaning drains. After collecting all the waste, we made sure to dispose of it properly at the segregation centre and we returned home tired, yet fulfilled and proud of our teamwork.
I learned the importance of teamwork and cooperation during Community Services. Also realized how proper waste disposal helps protect the environment.This project taught me to be more responsible and aware of my surroundings.
