School-Based Daily Clean-Up Drive

We noticed that our school's maintenance staff needs an extra hand in keeping the cleanliness of the school campus. So, we decided that a daily clean up drive would help even just a bit to the maintenance personel.

In this project, we spend 30 minutes to an hour every day after classes for a total of 2 months. Hence, we got a total of 13 hours for the project. We made sure that all of the hallways in each building are clean. Any garbage that we see, we pick it up and dispose of it properly

There are more than 2000 students studying in our school who will greatly benefit from this clean-up drive. Having a dirty learning environment can often reduce the motivation of the students to attend their classes. It's better to study in a clean environment, which is the purpose of our project.

I learned that every simple action matters. Simply taking 30 minutes more of our time before going home helps little by little. We get to take action against climate change while helping the maintenance personnel in keeping the campus clean
