School based Arbor Day

The Bugo NHS Boy Scouts of the Philippines together with the school Principal and assistant Principal, Judson M. Pastrano and Arnold A. Lee, respectively, joined the late celebration of the Arbor Day by Planting Fruit Bearing and Indigenous seedlings. Around the new cemented road of barangay bugo near the school, the scouts and scout leaders cultivated life and hoped to give more shades around the area.

This highlights the vital role trees play in our environment and encourages tree planting to promote conservation and sustainability. It may be late but it is a day dedicated to recognizing the benefits trees provide, such as clean air and water, climate change mitigation, and overall well-being.

The Boy scouts of Bugo National High School extended their services by planting fruit bearing seedlings in the new cemented and to be concreted barangay road besides and behind the school premises last July 26, 2025 Participants: 3 Adult Leaders 3 Female Senior Scouts 30 Male Senior Scouts Productivity: *Planted 15 Fruit Bearing Trees *Planted 30 Indigenous Trees
