World Water Day Theme: Nature for Water Objective: To make aware of Safe drinking water. To create awareness on proper waste management with emphasis on 5 R’s. To educate general public on the importance of Nature Conservation. To explore the nature-based solutions to water challenges. To instill values in children and be the agent of positive change in the society. • The students, teachers, Scouts, Scout leaders and the business community of Sarpang Tar observed the day productively. • There was speech on importance of the day and cleanup campaign was held at different areas of the school locality. • There was also display of banners and posters at strategic points to create awareness. • The community was also involved to observe the day. 937 students including the scouts, 51 teachers, 8 supporting staff and 32 business community representatives were present to observe the day.
