
Save Our Shore Project - Renovating and Constructing Kitchen Area for PIFWA
With allocation from Nibong Tebal Member of Parliament to PIFWA on earlier of year 2015, PIFWA decided to use that allocation to renovate and to expand the current kitchen on PIFWA Mangrove Small Education.
Save Our Shores Project members decided to gather their knowledge and their connection to source for the material to help to construct on this renovation and expansion of kitchen. One of the team member are engineer and help a lot on the project planning.
Previously the kitchen was shared with dinning area, so the PIFWANITA who help to prepare the food on every event will facing the difficulty of utilization of place and facilities. Therefore, decision from PIFWA Annual General Meeting of early of April, PIFWA members decided to well use of the available allocation.
This Save Our Shores Project had make PIFWA Mangrove Small Education Centre as base, and project team member also support them in the construction works.
Some simple structure and foundation had been started on May, while the minor part like covering the ceiling, to strengthen the steel mesh window, outside walkway cement pave, and some simple wood work will commence on June. Next work for the building will be painting and fixing the wall cabinet as well as electrical installation.
