Saka Wanabakti Beach Cleanup in Tidung Island

We were motivated to undertake this project by the large amount of trash piled up along the beach. This quantity of trash is increasing due to the westerly winds that carry it to this area. Therefore, we are conducting cleanups to protect the local ecosystem.

We carried out this project by first departing for the site by boat. Upon arrival, we immediately held a briefing and divided into groups. Afterward, each group was responsible for cleaning their respective areas.

Through this project, I learned to always protect the ecosystem. Our care, no matter how small, can impact the lives of local creatures. This is crucial for a better future.
