Safe drinking water for the future generations

The water source of Yebilaptsa Central School was far from school and during summer, the murky water flooded water tap making it unfit for consumption. The students had no option and therefore had to suffer for unwanted diseases. The Yebilaptsa Central school was so lucky that we were gifted with sky hydrant; a water purifier by Thimphu Rotary club. Students and staffs of the school joyfully helped in construction of the house for the filter and finally it was successfully completed. The filter costs 10,000 USD and filters 10,000 liters of water per day.
