As our service project we rehabilitated a traditional three meadow in Nuuksio National Park. By doing so we improved the habitats of several endangered butterflies. The meadows were relatively large in size. Our help was greatly appreciated. Service project was done in co-operation with Helsinki University Depart of Biology and Metsähallitus, which is a government owned institution that maintenances government owned forests and national parks. Helsinki University uses the meadows to study how the altered biodiversity changes the flora and fauna of the area.
