Rovers scouts taking the lead.
Rover scouts in our country are missing the mark on achieving the highest awards due to either lack of information/know how on how the Rovers program trickles down.
This triggered my interest in atleast making sure the leaders in the various crews in our county had the skills and knowledge impacted to them.
The project was executed in one of the Primary Schools in our county, General Kago Primary School located in Thika-West Sub County.
The whole idea was implemented in a camp set up and executed through the engagement of the senior Rover scouts leaders in the country.
32 Rover scouts benefited from this program.
It is now upon them to guide the crew members in the program as they work on implementing and sharing the ideas/skills gained.
Through the engagement of the crew leaders, the project emphasized on the good workmanship that our youth can be engaged in for a peaceful, sustainable and productive community.
