To be able to use your rope, you have to know how to tie the knots (Wide Open Spaces, 2019)

PCoE Rover Scout leaders conducted a session on Rope Work to teach a list of knots to improve the members knot tying skills.

Knot tying skills are something very useful for our daily life. Knowing how to use the rigth knots can even save lives. So, to make sure the rovers can execute there skills when needed, this particular session was particularly committed to learning and practcising of knot tying.

Following are the list of knots and lashing taught during this session:

  1. Square lashing
  2. Shear Lashing
  3. Diagonal Lashing
  4. Fisherman Knot
  5. Bowline
  6. Reef knot
  7. Whipping
  8. Sheet band
  9. Sheep Shank
  10. Clove hitch
