Roots of Tomorrow: Tree Plantation Week 2024
In Bangladesh, green spaces cover only 17% of our land—far below what our environment needs. As scouts, it’s our duty to lead the way. With rising population and deforestation, our future depends on what we plant today. Join hands this Tree Plantation Week to restore nature, one tree at a time. Let’s grow a greener, healthier tomorrow—for us and for generations to come.
To effectively achieve the tree plantation objective, scouts and rovers from Rajuk Uttara Model College Scout Group took part in the National Tree Plantation Week (8 to 14 July 2024) Program, which was organized by the governmental body Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) as part of an initiative led by the Ministry of Housing & Public Works of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Strategic partnerships drive meaningful impact. When social organizations collaborate with the government in environmental efforts, they create powerful momentum to address climate change effectively and sustainably.
