ROOTS FOR A GREENER TOMMORROW

ROOTS FOR A GREENER TOMMORROW

My FATHER, yes I am deeply inspired by my father. His name is SH. SURESH KUMAR, his dedication to environmental stewardship, his dedication to help an care to stray animals and community engagement moivated me to take some steps toward our beautiful nature. He plants and care trees regularly. His works are examples for me to do something towards our nature. He reminds me that even small efforts can lead to significant positive changes for our environment and community.

We firstly organise a group meeting two days before the project and decided to palnt trees at our village's playground. Then we take permission to our Unit leader and we brought about .40 trees and on 25th august 2024 we went to playground with my father and their we plants that saplings.

When we are planting the saplings we saw some tress that are planted already but not growing properly so parallely we cleaned those trees and gave water to them also. Now we regularly go their and take care and gave water to them.

This playground where we planted the saplings that is biggest playground in our neughbouring villages so from our neiughbouring villages and from our village also here approx. 150 to 200 sportsperson come and play on the daily basis.

Trees play a crucial role in purifing the air by absorbing pollutants such as carbon dioxide. The addition of 40 trees in this playground will significantly improve the air quality.

This project taught us the importance of Youth engagement-- more hands make the work lighter and the impact greater. And also taught planning and execution are bit difficult but with a structured approach helps in managing resourse and activities efficiently.          We make this more better with more scouts and more counts of plants and also by partnering with local organizations or local societies that working on tree plantation. We can gain additional support and resourse.

Finally, stress the ultimate benifit a greener more sustainable community space that everyone can enjoy.
