Libraries are essential components of civilization because they serve as entryways to knowledge and culture. They provide resources and services that foster learning opportunities, encourage literacy and education, and aid in the development of fresh viewpoints and ideas that are essential to the development of an inventive and creative society.
On July 30, 2022, I started a six-hour cleaning project in the Al Hikma school's primary division at 8.30 am. Following that, I took the step of separating the cleaning space into two areas. so the first group cleaned the room and made the necessary arrangements, while the second group arranged the bookshelves. We destroyed several potential mosquito breeding sites. Finally, we cleaned the area, arranged the bookshelves, and hung important posters on the walls. Our job was finished around 2:00.
Students and staff at Al Hikma College benefited from this initiative, I completed my service project with my brother and sister scouts, making me feel proud of what we do for our community. Community service gives scouts the chance to get involved in their neighborhood and has a long-lasting, beneficial effect on society as a whole. Scouts can learn valuable life skills and knowledge through community service or volunteerism while also helping people in need.
Even if we don't intend to change careers, volunteering allows us to practice crucial scouting skills like cooperation, communication, problem-solving, project planning, task management, and organization.
