Restoration of Forgotten Graves

Restoration of Forgotten Graves

I came up with the idea of the project and had it approved on June 6th of 2013. Since then we have been working in our spare time to work on the cemetery. We trimmed trees so that larger vehicles, such as backhoes, may have access to the cemetery, cut down trees and pushed back the brush to expand the cemetery for more gravesites, filled in the sunken graves that have been there for decades, and have also repaired and ,for some, reset gravestones that are dated more than a century old. It has taken hours of hard work to accomplish this task, and we are near the end. It has done good to raise the morale of both the community and the boys in my Troop.
