Day 1: 05/08/2020 Madhusudan Mr. (Dy International Commissioner-BSG) very efficiently explained about the Youth Programme by discussing ‘WWH’- ‘What’, ‘Why’ & ‘How’. Day 2: 06/08/2020 Official welcome of Mr. Prassanna Srivastava (Director-Organisational Development and Messenger of Peace) was done by Mr. Rajkumar Kaushik (Director BSG). Mr. Chetri blessed all with his motivational words. Mr. Prassanna made us familiar with what is 'MoP'- ‘Messanger of Peace’. Madam Kate explained the initial goals and elements of MoP and also how to upload service projects. In seven steps Mr. Prassanna elaborated the topic – ‘How to write the story for Scout.org’? Day 3: 07/08/2020 Official welcome of Madam Cynthia Marquez (Senior Manager-Education initiatives and MOP WSB) was done by Mr. Rajkumar and Mr. Analendre (A.N.E Region). She planned her session on “CHAMPION OF NATURE CHALLENGE AND EARTHTRIBE” alive by involving us in quiz and chat on – What inspire you to take action and protect our planet? Earthtribe – involvement of individual and community, mobilization of community was explained by elaborating SDGs. She motivated us to become tribe member by telling the journey of tribe members. Day 4: 08/08/2020 Warm welcome of Mr. K P Mishra, Mr. Ashok Argal, Mr. Syd Castillo (D.E.M. WSM) was done by Mr. Rajkumar Kaushik. Mr. Syd explained the three important pillars of Sustainable development - Economic growth, Social Inclusion and Environmental protection. With the help of five Ps'- People, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership and Planet one can understand the SDGs. Scouts can INSPIRE, ENABLE and DELIVER the content to young people to work for SDGs for Better World Framework. He also told us about the Patrimonito Scout Badge, the Scouts Go Solar Badge and the HeForShe campaign. TTL- Ticket to Life project was explained by Mr. Arup. Day 5: 17/08/2020 Welcome of respected Mr. Santosh Mal (IAS) by Mr. Rajkumar Kaushik. He also welcomed and introduced madam Cynthia Marquez and sister Ally (WOSM Consultant, Thailand). Both of them elaborately explained about- “SCOUTS OF THE WORLD AWARD and PATRIMONITO SCOUTS AWARD.” While explaining they also related it with sustainable development goals. Day 6: 18/08/2020 Respected D. Chakraborty (IAS) and Mr. Syd Castillo (D.E.M. WSM) was welcomed by Mr. Rajkumar. Mr. Amar Chhetri gave brief description of Better World Framework. “DIALOGUE FOR PEACE” was explained by him with the help of a PPT, in which he explained the pillars necessary for peace. Ten principles of Dialogue were effectively explained by him. Ground rules necessary while doing dialogues were highlighted. Day 7: 19/08/2020 Welcome of dignitaries Mr. M.K. Khalid, Mr. Peter Blatch (Member, World Scout Committee) , Madam Cynthia Marquez and Madam Lau Hoolin was done by Mr. Rajkumar. Additional CNC Mr. M.K. Khalid blessed us with his motivational words. He said that- DARK CLOUDS OF CORONA IS A SILVER LININING FOR US. This shows his positive attitude towards adverse conditions. Mr. Peter Blatch in very interesting form made us familiar with the topic- DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION. “GO SOLAR AND EARTHTRIBE” project was highlighted by Madam Cynthia and Madam Lau Hoolin. Day 8- 20/08/2020 Madam Luz L. Taray and (Director, Communication/Partnership World Scout Bureau) and Mr. Kenny Ralph Fernande (Project Officer WSB) was welcomed by Director Mr. Rajkumar Kaushik. ‘STORY TELLING’ was very efficiently explained by both the resource person in a stepwise manner.
