Renovating a School Library
While I was looking for a project our Teacher In Charge suggested me to refurbish a School Library. I got a contact from Helen Teacher. I contacted the School Principal. She told me that would be a great help to the school.
It was at St. Anns Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Wattala.
I got Support from Teacher In charge, Scout Leaders and Group scout leader.
To help the concept “Nearest School is The Best School”
To build a happy and successful educational life for a student.
Reading makes a full man; this will lay the foundation for it.
To promote literacy and disseminate useful daily information to the people and encourage lifelong learning through its reading materials and resources.
To develops their interest to use the library for their overall development
P: If Short of man power
S: Keep two scouts extra
P: If someone gets injured
S: Keep a first aid box ready
P: If it rains
S: Have raincoats and flysheets ready.
P: If there is a short of material
S: Have a petty cash in hand
P: If short of food
S: Have money in hand to buy extras
P: If paint spills
S: Bring Newspapers to lay on the floor
P: If more time needed
S: Work according to a schedule from the start
