Relief Operation for Punta Princesa Fire Victims

Because of the huge fire that happened last June 11, 2022. The only way we can help the people who were affected by the huge fire, was to gave them food, water, and clothes. Most of the clothes that were given are from many people who help and donated on our Donation Drop off Stations.
The project started on June 20, 2022 and it took place outside of Pardo National Highschool campus, where we had our Donation Drop off Station. On June 25, 2022, we went on the Cebu Council building where we packed all the donations that were received. And on June 26, 2022, we went to Punta Princesa Elementary School to distribute all the donations to the people who were affected by the fire.
The project that we did benefited around 1500 people. It did a huge impact on the community and its people especially the ones that were affected by the fire, because they received help from many people. Seeing them smiling and being very happy about them receiving help also makes me happy. And it makes me think even how hard their situation is they are still able to smile and be happy.
I learned that helping as one makes us a great community. Not only you can help someone, but you can also meet some great people around the community that you are in.
