150 Scouts from 5 Districts of Southern Bhutan congregated at the Regional Scout Camp from 21-27 January 2017. 50 Adult scout Leaders and Volunteers helped in conducting the Camp with much gusto and grandeur. The participants were engaged in numerous activities such as fun and creative activities, challenged, adventure, educational hike, survival classes, life skills, messenger of peace global initiative programs, creation of scout.org accounts, screening of mop films and other inspirational movies about peace and service. The Seven day camp also catered to the needs of the all the participants as a lot of activities were centered around the scout promise and the law. Challenging and competitive events were also held and attractive prizes awarded to motivate all the participants. The Camp gave special projects for the five contingents to construct canopies for the local school In the vicinity. End result was five beautiful canopies for the school. One hundred fifty new profiles were created for Bhutan. The closing ceremony of the camp was held on 27th January 2017.
