Reforestation and Clean Up of Cisangkuy River
There are many critical lands in the Pangalengan area, floods occur everywhere because there is no place to absorb water on the banks of the river and it requires the hands of people who care about the environment. Scouts Become One of the Front Guards in Maintaining and Preserving the Environment This is the main motivation to create a Clean River and Bald Forests to be green again.
This activity is in the form of planting around 1000 tree seedlings and cleaning the banks of the Cisangkuy Pangalengan River which is a collaboration between the Pangalengan Scouts with PMPS, BPBD, PTPN VIII and the TNI. This activity involves 1000 personnel.
We appeal to the surrounding community to continue to maintain, preserve, and care for the environment and the plants that we have planted. We hope that these programs can be sustainable, continue so that our spirit as scouts can increase, educating to protect the environment.
