The family of lango middle secondary, Paro marked the international day of peace to highlight the importance of harmoney in the socirty and world at large.

The scout masters and members spoke on the significance of peace and how we should try to contribute for the welfare of the world and to make our place to live.

The scouts with the support from school administration organized a recitation of Buddhist Scripture and offered butter lamps.

About 985 students and teachers took part in the event..

Refreshments were served to all the participants.

The day ended with prayer.
