Re-energising Scouting in Bulgaria
The aim of the project is to re-energise Scouting in Bulgaria by:
- training 25 new young scout leaders,
- creating 5 new local scout groups in small towns where Scouting doesn't exist and
- promoting Scouting in different towns in Bulgaria during the National River Day (exhibition and press conferences)
With the project, membership will grow to 1000 until the end of 2023(100%) and reach 1800 beneficiaries
Our National Board, together with our Training Team provided leadership training to 50 newly recruited scout leaders.
We also created 6 new local scout groups in 5 different municipalities in Bulgaria.
We organised 4 exhibitions where parents, children, youth, local authorities and partners could learn more about Scouting in Bulgaria

About 200 children and youth will have access to Scouting in 5 communities
Our National Training Team reviewed and adjusted the training for newly recruited leaders. The team is now very motivated to continue its efforts in providing quality training to scout leaders
To grow, our association needs to promote Scouting all around the country and be an example. Today, we are building new partnerships, which results from our experience.
We also experienced and improved our support to the newly created local scout groups. We know they will need our support for a longer period than the project itself but we are so proud to have a bigger scout family in Bulgaria
