Razia Kucing Lapar
I made this project in commemoration of Baden Powell Day and also a form of caring for cats. Cats often have difficulty getting food, so they sometimes take food from the vendors' stalls. Not infrequently they are subjected to violence such as being kicked and beaten for taking food from their stalls. This is what underlies me to create this project.
This project is implemented along the Water Front City Pontianak and around Parit Tengah Big Markets, Pontianak City. At first we formed into small groups, then spread out at various points during the time to feed the cats. The cat food we carry consists of wet food and dry food.
All participants who took part in this project were motivated to pay more attention to their surroundings, not only to fellow humans but also to other creatures around them such as cats. the impact on the community itself, the community also knows the concern of scout members for fellow living things, not limited to humans, and this project received a positive response from the community.
Broadly speaking, animal welfare is one of the things we consider because they indirectly contribute to our survival so far. So there's nothing wrong with sharing a little happiness with the animals with a handful of food for them.
