Ramadan Iftar Distribution Campaign

Ramadan teaches us the values of sacrifice and generosity. In keeping with this spirit, We, the members of the Adamjee Cantonment College Rover Scout Group organized an Iftar Distribution Program.
The following is how we carried out our project: First of all, the members of Adamjee Cantonment College Rover Scout Group raised self funds and made a list of food items needed. Secondly, we bought food items and packed them into iftar meals. Lastly, we located about 40 poor individuals living in the Kochukhet and Mirpur regions. Fourthly, we distributed iftar meals to those poor individuals prior to iftar.
Through this project, we learned the value of empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility. It showed us how careful planning and coordination can positively affect society. We also gained hands-on experience in organizing community service activities and realized the importance of supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the goal of Zero Hunger.
