RAKTA DAANA (BLOOD DONATION)
The need and necessity of platelets can easily be understood during the Dengue epidemic along with Covid-19. and also we all know how precious a drop of blood is !.
We all know how precious a drop of blood is. Keeping it in view , A mega blood donation camp was organised by Odisha state Bharat Scouts & guides in collaboration with "Jeevan Bindoo" on 01st September of 2021. The camp was organised in the premises of the State Headquarters Complex of Odisha State BS&G, Unit-III, Bhubaneswar. It was inaugurated by the president of Odisha State BS&G in presence of other vice-presidents and was conducted under the dynamic leadership of State Chief Commissioner.
This programme was impacted on the people of the locality. many people came voluntarily to donate blood those who were passes through nearby road and many of them appreciate the programme.
from this we get to know about the criteria to donate blood, the processing timing to get platelets. learnt how to deal with people to aware them about the blood donation.
