RAJYAPURASKAR award is the highest award given to a scout, guide , Rover and Rangers at the state level . Every year testing camps are conducted by the The Bharat Scouts and Guides - Tamil nadu to witness and identify the talents and also Evaluate the quality of youth and standard of the Adult leaders.

This year I got the chance to Receive the award on behalf of the East Chennai District for the Rover section from His EXCELLENCY GOVERNOR OF TAMILNADU Honourable shri. BANWARILAL PUROHITH  and with the presence of Education Minister of Tamilnadu.

The ceremony took place at governors residence known as Raj Bhavan, from 11 Am to 7 Pm approximately.
