Members of our cubscout den participated in World Book Night.  We did this by applying for books from the World Book Night sight.  We obtained two sets of books, one that would appeal more to woman and one that would appeal more to men. We then went to 2 of our local nursing homes and handed out the books to residents while visiting with them at the same time.
