Project Yeti

Montreal Area Rovers spent five weeks in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal working in two communities affected by the 2015 earthquake. The crew worked in collaboration with the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation of Canada planting seedlings for the Bijuli Hydro Electric company in Samargatha National Park. We also painting a monestary and clinic in Thame as well as a community centre in Kunde. We installed new computer equipment at the school in Khumjung. After completing our community work we trekked to Mt Everest Base Camp before returning to Kathmandu to meet up with Nepali Scouts.
