Project Ramadan 2024
Our motivation for "Project Ramadan 2024" stemmed from gratitude, empathy, and compassion. Witnessing the struggles of homeless individuals inspired you to offer them moments of comfort and dignity through meals. The initiative recognized shared humanity and emphasized the importance of supporting those in need, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, when the values of charity and community service hold significant importance.
Project Ramadan 2024 was executed through meticulous planning and teamwork. Over the first 2–3 weeks, donations were collected, followed by a week of meal preparation. On April 6–7, 2024, scouts distributed fresh meals and donations to orphanages near Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University. The initiative highlighted the power of collective effort, bringing support and joy to children while reinforcing empathy, leadership, and social responsibility.
We learned the profound impact of community service and the importance of supporting vulnerable groups. The experience deepened our values of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility. It also provided practical lessons in leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills, demonstrating how collective efforts can create meaningful change. Additionally, it highlighted the joy and fulfillment that comes from giving back, especially during a spiritually significant time like Ramadan.
