Project Momota (Workshop on Period)
I was inspired to start Project Momota after noticing the lack of education and awareness around menstrual health in my community. Seeing the stigma and misinformation faced by many motivated me to create workshops that provide accurate information, support, and resources. I aim to empower individuals and promote a healthier, more informed perspective on periods.
I executed Project Momota by researching menstrual health issues, and then organizing workshops in schools and community centers. I collaborated with health professionals and educators to provide accurate information. We distributed educational materials and sanitary products, encouraged open discussions, and created a supportive environment to break the stigma and empower participants with knowledge and resources.
Throughout Project Momota, I learned the importance of open communication and community engagement. Addressing sensitive topics like menstrual health requires empathy and cultural sensitivity. I also discovered the power of education in breaking down stigma and empowering individuals. The project reinforced my belief in the value of collaboration and persistence in creating lasting social change.
