Project GREEN
Project GREEN is motivated by our desire to create a clean, healthy, and eco-friendly environment where learning and growth can thrive. By cleaning classrooms, school grounds, and surrounding areas, we promote discipline, responsibility, and respect for shared spaces. This initiative aims not only to improve the appearance of our environment, but also to reduce waste, prevent health risks, and cultivate pride in our school and community.
Project GREEN was conducted by DUNGA0 INTEGRATED SCHOOL at Barangay Dungao, Sto.Nino, Cagayan. The event took place from July 15- October 17, 2025, with the participation of around 32 students, teachers, parents, and community volunteers. The activity began with a short opening program led by the School Head, BSP Coordinator, parents and representatives from the Local Government Unit (LGU). After the program, participants joined a cleaning, maintaining the classrooms, offices and other areas.
Through Project GREEN, we learned the value of teamwork and shared responsibility in keeping our environment clean and organized. We realized that simple actions—such as cleaning classrooms, segregating waste, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas—create a big impact when done consistently. This project also taught us discipline, environmental awareness, and the importance of taking care of our surroundings not just for today, but for the future.
