Project C.R.E.A.T.E.S
To learn about Scouts of the World Award and to make a difference.
Barangay Longos, Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines. We visited in Barangay Longos, Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines. We asked the Barangay Captain and the Secretary in-charge in education about the problems that they've been encountered in the community. After that, we conduct a house to house interview with the families at Sitio Salinas, Longos, Calasiao, Pangasinan.
There are 39 beneficiaries. This project helped the youth in the children community to gain knowledge and to give them inspiration to obtain proper education. This will help them in their community to avoid bad habits like being stubborn and undisciplined.
What I learned from my experience, many indigent children were struggling readers and as a scout I can help them enhance their reading skills. Through our project "Project C.R.E.A.T.E.S. (Community Reading Enhancement Assistance through Transformative Engagement of Scouts), we can help our beneficiaries.
