Post-Election Clean Up Drive

My motivation for this project was that after the national elections this year, there were a lot of campaign materials left which does not serve and purpose anymore. These campaign materials such as tarpaulins and others only pollute our environment, and that's why it must be cleaned.
This project was executed with the help of our school's teachers in cooperation with our troop. We used different tools to make the removal of campaign materials easier. There were quite a lot of scouts from our troop and teachers from our school to supervise, that's why the job was done faster than expected.
This project helped our community to become cleaner. We removed a lot of tarpaulins and other materials used during the election period that may have blocked drainage systems, destroyed some plants, caused floods, and etc. This project was a huge success.
After this project, I learned that it would be better if politicians used eco-friendly materials for their campaigns, or there would only be certain areas where campaign materials are allowed. Seeing how every election period, the waste from campaign materials is vast, it would be better if this would be limited in some way.
