Plastic Tide Turners Challenge: Plastic Clean-Up Drive

Plastic Tide Turners Challenge: Plastic Clean-Up Drive

To combat plastic pollution, the Rover Circles United 08, Cabanatuan City Council of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, carried out a plastic clean-up drive at a roadside near a creek at Barangay Magsaysay Norte, Cabanatuan City last March 20, 2021. Through working together, the 35 Rover Scouts and 5 Senior Scouts collected seven huge bags full of plastic waste. They also planted tree seedlings to dissuade the residents from throwing garbage in the area. The circle plans to monitor the location to preserve the cleanliness and to care for the planted seedlings.
