WORLD EARTH 🌍 DAY 2025 On the occasion of World Earth 🌎 Day, the *Scout section* of the Traffic Group, Asansol organized an impactful awareness campaign on ‘No Use of Plastic’ to promote environmental ☘️consciousness among the local public. The campaign took place in two major areas of the city — Asansol Railway Station 🚉 & Circulating Area and Asansol Municipality Bazar Area.
A total of 24 Scouts enthusiastically participated in the campaign, spreading the message against the use of plastic bags and encouraging people to adopt eco-friendly 🍃alternatives like paper 📄 bags for daily use. The Scouts interacted with the public, distributed handmade paper bags, and explained the harmful effects of plastic on the environment and health.
