Planted Fruits Trees in Bhutan

Every year, second June is celebrated as Coronation day of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme singye wangchuck and we consider this day as a special day to celebrate and commit towards fulfilling life long aspirations of His Majesty and promote the philosophy of GNH in every institution. The selfless contribution of His Majesty and visionary leadership qualities inspires every Bhutanese to commit and dedicate towards better future.
To initiate this programme scout master's and leaders came together to discuss and plan for the activities. On this day it is also celebrated as social forestry day and many organizations and institutions plant trees on this day to celebrate the Coronation day and social forestry day.The Scouts of Tendruk central school plant fruits trees to mark the importance of the day and pay tribute and respect to our great Fourth.
By planting the fruits trees it will beautify the school campus and further it is an small act towards taking climate action. It will also enhance the biodiversity and create conducive environment for students in a schools. Thus this projects has potential to create awareness on climate action and also benefit people and animals when fruits trees starts reaping fruits. With this diverse impact on social and natural change, we will nurture fruits trees.
By doing this projects it enable students to think and realize the climate change and take necessary actions. It also enhance scouting programme through activities based values and learning. Team work and support is important for any kind of projects to Excell to next level.
